We have also suggested some of the key activities that
both commisioners and providers will need to manage to deliver these
demands. You are probably doing many of these right now.
But most imporantly, we have suggested some enabling skills,
knowledge, capabilities, attitudes, culture, information that will be
needed to do this well. If the focus is on the process, and not on the
enablers, they they will not improve. It is the underlying pieces
that make the biggest difference.
Now, we do not know how well you score on these, though
you have probably started to think about it. What we can do is
help you getwork out what is important for you and to help you develop
teh skills to manage the delivery of these pieces, better, yourselves.
